After a couple of weeks with bad weather the sun showed off and I guess I can say that the first sunny day worked out super effectiv, 3 spots on one day. I`ve finished a small collage of Ben and Saz with pictures from the first spot of the day. Maybe the pictures say something about there characters, minds and way of snowboarding. The weatherforecast for the next days looks quite good so the game is on and will be on.

Yesterday evening I realized a idea that sticks in my head for some years. I broke down my old FISCHER TOURING ski and mounted the old SILVRETTA 404 binding on my first twin tip ski, a SALOMON POCKET ROCKET. As a addition I cut some edges on the nose so that the old climbing skin match also. Today it was time reward myself with a small tour and a few powderturns. Maybe I was also the first one who climbed this mountain with skins and hit the north east face.

A few weeks ago I was able to spent a week on a typical oldfashioned mountain hut called "Neustattalm". The plan was to support a project of two of my friends with some photos of the enviromental surrounding and our little jibpark we built up around the hut. It was quite amazing to be a whole week on the hut away from civilisation enjoying the simple life.

Next Skiing Issue, next shot printed, quite a good procedure. This time a got the welcome shot in the current photo issue. Which is a great pleasure for me because the picture shows one of my personal projects I worked on last season. To take digital pictures threw analog cameras is nothing special. I saw some pictures from random photographers and thought it would be working out in freesking and snowboarding. I guess it kind of works out. About two weeks ago I spent some days with my family and my girlfriend on the island Rügen. It was a good time to charge the batteries for my last months in university and also nice to see the places I had been as a small kid again. I brought my Canon 1N with a 28mm lens with me and shoot some standard Fuji discount rolls of film while biking over the island.

Like every year during the beginning of summertime my friends from the Shredniks Crew organized their Summershredfest. Located in the very east of our country the built up a very nice little setup supported with some snow from the local fridge. It was such a nice time to see all the people again, shoot some pictures with snow, hit some golf balls with a greek friend and of course drink some beer. I collected two after madness pictures. A week at IBK

Like I wrote in one of my last posts I will be a week at Innsbruck. Two weeks ago it was time for a little trip to my friends from the FREESKI-CREW. I stayed at there "headoffice" or better commune and had such a fun time. As I rolled in the weather meant it really good. We got some fresh snow and bluebird every day during the week. The mission was quite easy, using the fresh snow for some freeride stuff on the beginning of the week and build up kickers or ride park on the end of the trip while finishing all days with a tasty barbecue. By the way thanks for the hostage.

I visited a nice little castle park last weekend. The walk ended up in a little collection of benches. It was a bit strange to see more than 50 benches that all look different. Seems like the park designer got very fast breathless.

Since some weeks the snow is gone only on our highest local resorts you will find the white gold now. But there is one location that keep the snow save in the lower region called Augustusburg.

With theire assistance my friends from JRBKingz.com organised a little jam session during the last weekend. I do not know how many hours they turn on the snowmachines? Guess it were a lot. It turned out to be a very good time.

The week is gone like seconds of your life but it was a damn good time. Only Dominik Hartmann hit one of the last obstacles a bit to hard and landed straight in a local hospital. He is on the way to recovery and today it was time to leaf. After 6 days in hospital he was transferred to a bavarian hospital today. I visited him a last time yesterday. Saw him standing on his own lags, making jokes and laughing about the week . Guess he will be back, especially on his rail, he said.

Chemnitz week

Tuesday my friends from the Freeski-Crew arrieved in Chemnitz. Since tuesday three days pass away and we hit more than three urban spots so far. Good work , it worked all out fine. But today at 13 o`clock Dominik Hartmann made a big black line threw this perfect constellation. A sw 270 on a double kinked rail finished the session and ended up in hospital. Final result, Hartmann has to live without a milt in future. WTF get well soon...

JRBK vs DEELUXE part 2

Some months ago I wrote something about the first part of the JRBK-DEELUXE skatetrip. At that time the boys came up to us in the east. Last weekend it was time for the second part and time for us to drive down to Munich to hit some skateparks over there. After three parks, enough beers and excellent food on the first the second day brought us to Austria. We had a good day at Kufstein and Brixlegg finished like the others with some beers, food, sleep. The trip was ended up by typical homegrown dinner and a short session in a local skate hall. Again a big THANKS to Matthieu and Harald for all and all the others for the nice time. Cheers

As every year the summer camp in Senftenberg took place. My friends from JRBKingz ruled the camp just every day with special site-events like "le-mans-skate-circuits" .

The posted a really big blog featuring some good words, photos and a nice video.

Also some of ski buddies find there way to the camp but if I look threw my memories I would say, that there were more skier on the slope. Hopefully that will change during the next years and some of my friends from the Freeski-Crew will find their way to Senftenberg.

Back from Spindler Mühlen and as you can imagine the Spindl Spring Session was super good. We had sun, rain, snow, fog, but saw one of the best parks this season. The crew from snowparkdesign.cz did an amazing job beginning with accommodation and ending up by the park. See you next year!

A lot of hiking and spoting during the last 2 days. The result is very simple. At the moment there is not enough snow for some huge action. But we made it. As you can see. On the weekend the slopes will be open. Also the forecast say that there will come some snowfall, maybe more than 10 cm. Next week othal is on FIRE!

Stubai again at the same time, same resort but with another crew as last year. This year I travelled down with my buddies from JRBKINGZ. Stubai waited for us with a nice park, nice weather and matthieu who did a wonderfull meal. THANKS! The mission was to shoot some pics for ad (you will see), catch some sun, hit some slopes and have some fun. All in all mission complete. Big THANKS to Stubai Glacier for the tickets!
